GTA Online UFO Locations And Rewards For Halloween 2025

UFO Sightings Reported in Southern San Andreas

Residents of Southern San Andreas have reported multiple UFO sightings, creating a buzz across the community. This Weazel News report delves into the specifics of these extraterrestrial encounters in GTA Online, outlining the various locations of the UFOs and the rewards available for players who capture them. This isn’t the first time the skies of Blaine County and Los Santos have been graced by UFOs, as previous Halloween events have seen bizarre weather phenomena and UFO sightings.

How to Capture UFOs and Earn Rewards

Starting from October 14th, players can expect to see a new UFO or several each day, with the locations changing daily. The initial sightings will occur between 10 PM and 4 AM in-game time, while once the Halloween-themed weather sets in, sightings will shift to between 7:30 PM and 6:30 AM. Over the coming weeks, a total of 26 UFOs will be available for players to photograph. To successfully capture a UFO, players need to get close enough to take a picture using Snapmatic, but caution is advised to maintain a safe distance. Once a photo is taken, players can send it to Omega via their iFruit phone. Each successful capture rewards players with in-game currency and RP, with regular UFOs yielding $15,000 and 1,000 RP, while the rarer Stealth UFOs provide $50,000 and the same RP. Capturing all unique UFOs unlocks exclusive bonus items, including the UFO Boxer Shorts, a mysterious “???” tee, and the Glow Believe Cap by the end of October. Additionally, players can earn a melee weapon known as The Shocker, which was introduced last year through a series of tasks at Fort Zancudo and will be obtainable in the same manner this year. Newly introduced this year is the Grey Space Interloper Outfit, available for those who have previously participated in UFO captures.

Daily UFO Sightings from October 14th Onwards

On October 14th, the first UFO was spotted in Paleto Bay. As the event continues, more sightings have been reported: on October 15th, a UFO hovered above the Pacific Ocean, urging players not to dive in for a closer look as air vehicles may malfunction near these unidentified objects. The following day, hikers on Mount Chiliad reported a UFO at the summit. October 17th brought sightings to residents in El Gordo with a UFO directly above the lighthouse, a location that will not see a repeat.

On October 18th, cult members near Altruist Camp reported a UFO, while the next day saw gatherings of extraterrestrial enthusiasts at the “Beam Me Up” installation east of Sandy Shores. October 20th revealed a UFO sighting near the Satellite Relay Station in the Grand Senora Desert, which won’t reappear. On October 21st, travelers spotted a UFO at Fort Zancudo. Remarkably, on October 22nd, two UFOs were sighted for the first time this month; a standard UFO was located in Harmony, Grand Senora Desert, while a special one was reported near Fort Zancudo, offering bonus rewards.

The sightings continued with reports from inmates at Bolingbroke Penitentiary on October 23rd, followed by a UFO spotted by a farmer near Vinewood Hills on October 24th. Workers at the Palmer-Taylor Power Station experienced a surprise UFO sighting on October 25th, and reports of increased UFO activity emerged around Paleto and the ocean on October 26th. By October 27th, three UFOs were visible across various locations, including Fort Zancudo and the Altruists camp.

The excitement peaked on October 29th with at least five UFOs seen on the outskirts of Los Santos, marking the closest sightings to the city thus far. Finally, on October 30th, over a dozen UFOs were reported hovering over the streets of Los Santos. Local authorities have issued warnings advising residents to stay indoors, as some individuals have gone missing under mysterious circumstances. Notably, UFOs will now remain visible even if players or vehicles approach, with abductions occurring. Players who are beamed up will receive the UFO Boxer Shorts, and those who have documented previous and current UFOs will unlock different variants of the Believe Cap, including a glowing edition. There’s also a chance of gaining access to a secret bunker upon abduction, where players can solve puzzles to earn the stun baton and the new Gray Space Interloper Outfit.
